This is Liabum saloyense. This shrub is a member of the sunflower family and likes to live in partial sun to semi shade. Because it is in the sunflower family I assume that several butterflies can at least use the plant for nectar. This plant is not grown in many places and would make a great ornamental plant. Dense clusters of bright yellow flowers are the main attraction. USDA Hardiness Zones 9 to 11
