These seeds were collected from Fagraea fragrans, also known as Cyrtophyllum fragrans, Ironwood, and Tembusu. This tree grows into interesting shapes that are not found on regular trees. It gets about 25 feet tall and has fragrant yellow flowers. The wood is very hard and can last over 100 years. For this reason it is often used to make hard wood floors and cutting boards. A latex collected from under the skin of the fruit can be used as an adhesive. USDA Hardiness Zones 10 to 12.
