This is Aristolochia paulistana. This magnificent yellow and purple bloom is in the shape of a giant beak. It will grow about 20 feet long if given something to climb on. This is a very rare plant and the seeds are hard to find; luckily my Mother grows them. All Aristolochia species, except for the Aristolochia gigantea, are larval host plants for the Pipevine Swallowtail, Polydamas Swallowtail, and Mylotes Cattleheart butterflies.
