These seeds are from Aristolochia foetida. Germinating these seeds can be very slow with a cold period up to 2 years long. This amazing blossom is pink with a yellow throat that that has a dark maroon outline. The blossoms are many and repeating making this plant a real eye opener. This striking plant is native to Mexico. All Aristolochia species, except for the Aristolochia gigantea, are larval host plants for the Pipevine Swallowtail, Polydamas Swallowtail, and Mylotes Cattleheart butterflies.
