This is Aristolochia cymbifera gonzaga. This plant like either full sun or partial shade. I love this flower because of its peculiar 6 to 8 inch contorted blossom. This gonzaga cultivar was bred and selected for its very large blossom with such an interesting pattern. All Aristolochia species, except for the Aristolochia gigantea, are larval host plants for the Pipevine Swallowtail, Polydamas Swallowtail, and Mylotes Cattleheart butterflies.
